Time to update this thing...

So I'm studying in Lincoln this year, I chose to study Accountancy and Finance but after the first two weeks of study I found out that I can't study it because it doesn't have a dissertation in the programme and I'm doing the dissertation next year for both my home university and University of Lincoln, so I had to change my major to Finance and Business. But I don't mind, I study some management courses and they're easier and more fun than accountancy. And as I don't work now I actually study and read the course books... I prefer working ^-^

Sometimes in February I'll have to start looking for a placement but I can't decide whether I want to do it abroad or in Finland. On one hand it would be nice to do it somewhere else, maybe Germany and improve my German, but on the other hand I think it's a waste of time for all I want from life is a couple of pets. So if I did my placement in Finland I could finally get a driving license and get an apartment and settle down and eventually buy loads of animals. But then again it might be harder to get a placement from Finland. I don't know. So I'm still thinking.

And as for my near future plans, in the end of October I go to see Eddie Izzard; in mid December I go to see Placebo -finally after all these years; and for Christmas I'll go to Finland and then come back to Lincoln in January.

...just to replace the season greetings

Life's been busy. I still work and study and I have to hand in an assignment almost every week.

I want to draw more. So I try to do the school stuff well in time and then use my free tim wisely. As if -_-

Very bored of my job. And I don't feel like I really belong there. But as they offer me a four-week-holiday so I figured I won't get a summerjob but instead continue in my current job. Already booked my summer holiday from mid June to mid July, hopefully I get the dates I wished for. I'll quit my job in the mid July, too and I already told my boss and he was quite cool with it.

Around Easter I will go to New York with my sister. Unfortunately we'll stay there for only a couple of days because we both study and work. I'm still very excited though because there's so much to see and I've never been to the States before.

If everything goes well (and why wouldn't it, I'm such a pessimist -_-) I'll go to China for about a month in the end of July. I'll first do volunteer work in a panda conservation for two weeks and then travel around for another week or maybe two. I'd like to see at least Xi'an and Beijing. An ancient history freak as I am. I'm very excited about the trip but also a bit (or very very ) scared because I've never travelled alone before and now I'm going to a coutry which language I can't speak. Well, it's a once in a lifetime experience so it's worth it.

So there go all the savings I made during the last two years.

Then around September I'll go to Lincoln to study. As I'm doing a double degree programme in college we have one year of studies in a British university. I already got the accomondation contract so at least that is secured. I still have to choose a major though. I though maybe finance. Wll see.

So that's it. I know this entry is way too long but this way I won't have to update it for a while.

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!




My Christmas holidays started last week at school so now I only go to work. It's nice to have a lot of free time (I just have to put it in good use) ^-^

Paypal's whispering into my ear: mmm use me go on clicky clicky it's so easy and fun ^-^ Eeheehee.

I figured I needed a new journal entry because all my entries are so depressing and then they stay on for ever and ever and make everyone depressed.

So yeah I've been doing some online shopping. I bought the whole two seasons of the Invisible Man from Amazon, and it was very cheap. I love the show so much and they don't sell it in stores here. And then I bought some books for school eventhough I said I wouldn't buy them anymore. But they were very cheap. One was 0,18 pounds and the other one 3 pounds. Delivery was more expensive than the books. It made me laugh.

Nothing much else then, really. Again had some funny ideas of what I could draw but I don't really have time now. Cos all my free time goes to watching I-Man now lol.

My summer holidays started. It feels weird now that I don't have to do anything in the mornings, no homework or staying up all night writing some essays.

I still work in the evenings but I should get a couple of weeks free in July.

Nothing much else then, really. Hate school, hate work, but what can you do? That's life. One thing I know is that I'll never be a good businesswoman.

I'll try and draw a bit more during the holidays. And I'll try and come to DA a bit more often too.
